A Regency gilt gesso, rosewood and marble topped mirror backed console table, circa 1820. The fitted carrara marble top above moulded bow front apron, flanked by turned baluster supports on rosewood platform base with gilded gesso moulded frieze, 76 cm width x 37.5 cm depth x 85 cm height. Provenance: Purchased in 1981 from James.R.Lawson Pty Ltd, Sydney.
