A twenty seven piece Regency tea and coffee service by Spode, 1805-6, pattern 889, in rich polychrome colours with puce and mauve acanthus leaves, gold and iron red flowers and foliage within gilded bands, and comprising six trios, including bute shaped cups, coffee cans and saucers, an additional cup and two saucers, milk jug and creamer, teapot stand, covered sucrier, slops bowl and a low form bowl or plate; variously marked in iron red with the pattern number or Spode underside.
