A fine Chinese export.900 silver cigarette case, late Qing Dynasty, early 20th century; with maker's mark, L.Y.H for Lee Yee Hing of Hong Kong, the curved slender case with a sprung hinge and a silver bracket for holding the cigarettes, engraved and prick worked with the figure of a writhing dragon upon a finely beaten ground, with a vacant circular cartouche; hallmarked to the interior and also marked 900 silver and with character mark, possibly 'Fu' meaning happiness.
