A Scottish silver teapot. 1805 Edinburgh, with unidentified maker's mark WSC. A shaped oval teapot with a stepped and domed cover and finial, with a long curvaceous spout, a timber bracket handle and raised on ball feet, with bright cut and prick worked chevron and key fret borders, gadrooned to the rim with raised borders of scrolling foliage and trailing acorn motifs.
