A George II pair of sterling silver candlesticks. 1748 London, with maker's mark for John Priest, also bearing crest with a baronial coronet, and a serpent nowed, the candlesticks with knopped and threaded stems to square shaped stepped bases, the removable wax pans of square flower form and unmarked; with crisp hallmarks and crests underside, rubbed marks near rim.
