A Chinese cinnabar covered box, later Qing Dynasty, late 19th century, the rectangular box and cover with a cushion profile, carved with figures in an auspicious landscape and pavilion setting in low relief upon a diaper ground, continuous floral borders to the rim and body of the casket; with a star tile motif underside centred with a gilded cartouche featuring a stylised Qianlong mark.
