A Cantonese famille rose dish, later Qing Dynasty, late 19th century, the dish delicately decorated with a central roundel of a gold fish surrounded by exotic birds in flight amidst flowering prunus and peony flowers in a predominantly puce, purple, iron red, teal and apple green palette, bordered with a continuous band of arabesques and flowers; red seal stamp underside.
