A Malaccan Straits covered silver container, circa 1900 to early 20th century, the round container with a shaped lid having a chased knot design with repeating lotus and plain motifs within lappet reserves and decorative bands, the lower half similarly decorated and raised on a plain slightly flaring foot; possibly part of a sireh set . Silver weight 600gr. Height 14 cm diameter 17 cm
