A large Meiji Japanese ivory okimono; features an elder holding a Koro with a dragon coiling up his body. Beneath him rests a young child and small dog, who is reaching to attack the dragon. The dragon has released his sharp claws towards the threatening dog. Signed lotus flower mark to base. 20 cm high.
