A fine quality mother-of-pearl and silver miniature casket, of oblong shape, the very slightly domed hinged lid, the sides and the base of pearl shell all finely engraved with ribbon and scale patterns; set and pinned within an unmarked silver (tested) frame to lid, top rim and base; the lid front with a Cupid's bow thumbpiece. The interior with remnants of gilding to the metalwork. 8.1 cm x 4.2 cm x 4.2 cm
