A blue and white globular vessel, Ming Dynasty, 16th century, well-painted with six figures in a fenced garden between cloud and lacquered borders the unglazed base slightly recessed neck reduced. 16.5 cm high. Provenance: The late Mrs Evans of Santa Barbara California, who collected Asian art over a lifetime, discovered by Gary Major Douglas in a hidden storage unit.
