Tobruk Letter & Sam Brown: Single page letter from (VX30501) W.Morrison 2/23 Battalion B Co. A.I.F Abroad dated 26/5/41 to Mrs Gahan informing her that Studley Gahan was missing & 'His Sam Brown belt which I know he treasures is in my possession'. Captain Gahan had been gifted the Sam Brown from his father in law Colonel Mitchell who can be seen wearing it in one of the 4 accompanying photographs. Also includes 2 photographs of Charles Ashmore Mitchell South Australian Colonial Forces circa 1900 & a photograph of Studley Gahan himself
