1928 Brisbane Cup, 15ct gold trophy on wooden plinth, engraved 'Brisbane Cup 1928/ Queensland Turf Club' and 'Won By 'Canning Queen', (Highfield (imp) Carina), ridden by A.E.Davis. Establishing a New Australian Record, 3.22 - 2 Miles. Owner - P.J.O'Shea'. Together with a wire dome mesh insert enabling the Cup to be used as a vase (this was arranged by Hilda Power, wife of Dr.John Power, Chairman of Qtc after P.J.O'Shea)
