A rare silver pair cased pocket watch, key wind, fusee/chain, verge escapement, silver regulator disc, ring balance under finely pierced balance cock, hog's bristle arc regulated, bright gilt mechanism, overhauled and working. The case hallmarked London 1784 and with incuse mark possibly of Thomas Carpenter; the movement signed indistinctly R.P.Chamber, London, 636. White enamel dial (with slight crack) with Roman numerals and gilt hands.
