A Satsuma earthenware figure of a bijin by Kinkozan, Meiji Period the young woman standing with head turned to the side, wearing a long gilt decorated blue kimono and a broad russet obi gilt with scattered kiku flowers, her hair drawn into high coils and chignon decorated with flowers, the base with impressed seal Kinkozan zo 43 cm high.
