An underglaze blue and iron-red 'dragon' dish seal mark of Qianlong with shallow rounded sides and everted rim, painted on the interior with a central medallion enclosing an iron-red dragon amongst waves, the exterior with a frieze of nine dragons in various poses below a narrow border of demi-florettes, the base inscribed with a six-character seal mark in underglaze blue, fitted box 18 cm diameter
