A pair of hardwood continuous yokeback armchairs, Nanguanmaoyi, and a matching rectangular stand, 19th/20th century the chairs each with an arched crestrail with central S-shaped plain splat and supported on slightly curved rear posts of round section continuing through the moulded frame to form the back legs, the curved arm rails supported on tapering stiles and joined to the S-shaped front posts, the hardwood seat above arched stretchers with short struts joining the legs of circular section and four ascending stretchers at the base (3) the chairs 119 cm high, 61 cm wide, 67 cm deep; the stand 74 cm high, 42 cm wide, 31.7 cm deep
