An archaistic jade gu-form vase Qing dynasty, 19th century of square section, the sides divided by vertical notched flanges and pierced dragon scrolls along the corners, the mid section carved in low relief with a frieze of characters above pendent stiff leaves with the splayed base and repeated on the flared neck above vertical kui dragons, the pale stone with some opaque inclusions and russet suffusions, wood stand, box (2) 22.6 cm high
