Barbedienne in the second half of the 19th century from models by Toussaint dated 1850, the male and female figures each holding aloft a torch, each signed to the base 'A.Toussaint 1850' and 'Fondeur F.Barbedienne', electrified, with later shades, together with a pair of later associated faux marble plinths of tapering rectangular form, 118 cm and 119 cm high
