A fine quality Regency mahogany cased musical bracket clock signed Rivers & Sons / Cornhill, London / Successors to Daniel de St Leu / watch maker to her Majesty, with a triple fusee anchor escapement, playing six tunes on twelve bells, with striking bell and pull repeat, centre adjust pendulum and holdfast, the backplate engraved 'Rivers & Son / Corkhill London / 1067', the painted Roman numeral dial with subsidiaries for date, tune select and not chime/chime lever, housed within a flame mahogany case with pagoda top, brass bob finials, gilt highlights and brass fish scale grills to either side, 63 cm high
