A fine mid Victorian Scottish flame mahogany chest, circa 1860-70s, of generous proportions with an extended top above a cushion profile faux frieze drawer concealing a top hinged 'secret' compartment, two half drawers above four full width drawers of graduating depth, with a shaped apron, extended ear form knopped and turned legs, and turned handles each with a mother-of-pearl embellishment.
