An opposite pair of Satsuma vases, Meiji to Taisho periods, 1910-1920, and signed Satsuma, the high shouldered baluster vases with small waisted necks tapering to spreading bases, well decorated in a soft pink, coral, iron red and sage palette with female figures walking across traditional arched bridges beneath pendant pink blossom with Mt Fuji in the distance, with a gold on iron red cartouche underside to both.
