Description:
A good bronze Chinese censer, probably 16th to 17th century, but bearing earlier Xuande marks, with a good patina, the shallow bowl of compressed form with beading to the rim and base, having finely detailed lion dog lug handles and raised on tripod feet; with impressed Ming marks underside; on a timber lotus stand. Height 10.5 cm. (on stand)
