A small Chinese Ru Ware dish, possibly Northern song Dynasty, 960-1127, the simple flower shaped dish with an everted scalloped rim, a lightly incised ring below the rim with a cream glaze having a hint of celadon over pale clay; base unglazed and with firing grit. Provenance: Purchased by a gentleman resident in Shanghai during the 1960s. Height 2 cm. Diameter 11 cm
