A Jizhou Ware bowl, Southern song Dynasty (12th-13th century), a low conical bowl with a small circular foot having a horizontal mould line to the interior of the collar and a slightly ogee shaped rim, decorated externally with a mottled tiger's fur glaze in grey and caramel over deep chocolate, and to the interior, paper cut resist decoration depicting plum blossoms, with a button to the centre.
