Surfboard: Gordie 'Middleweight' with 'Nose fin', 1967. 9 feet 8 inches x 23 inches. Towards the end of the long board era, anything went for design. This Gordie model featured a unique 'nose fin', that as the copy stated, 'provides the aggressive surfer with full range control'. This board has all the bells and whistles, step deck, floral pattern designs on deck, coloured foam T-band stringer and tail block, green tint bottom and lap with green tint fibreglass fin and of course the 'nose fin'. Original glass job. This board was the featured board from the 1967 Gordie promotional advertisement.
