Crystal chandelier with a lobed stem, sixteen dual scrolling patera decorated branches, thirty two sconces and faceted tear shaped drops. Provenance: One of a set of six chandeliers formerly housed in the Long Room of Customs House Melbourne. The chandeliers were installed in 1969 when Customs House was converted for use by the Federal Government as Parliamentary offices. They were removed during the restoration of Customs House in 1996, prior to the installation of the Immigration Museum
