Oak 19th century chair in the Gothic revival style with a leather upholstered back surmounted by a carved monogram and three fleur de lys finials, roll over arms, a contoured seat and turned legs and stretchers. This chair is one of 120 used for 70 years by the Melbourne Stock Exchange, until the close of call trading at that exchange in December 1961
