A fine Cantonese bowl with French ormolu mounts, Qing Dynasty, mid to late 19th century, in a famille rose palette and decorated throughout with figural narrative panels interspersed with Buddhist auspicious symbols, and key fret and richly brocaded borders, the rocaille ormolu mount with a pierced shell border, branched foliate handles and raised on an acanthus stem to a spreading pierced and scrolled foot.
