A 19th century Chinese bronze incense burner, compressed spherical form, the body with two large panels of relief dragon and mystic pearl decoration below a frieze of stiff leaf design, the pierced dome cover with a relief band of crashing wave design supports the fu dog finial, stylised attached tortoise handles, raised on three short mask feet. Good old patina. The side handle requires re-attaching. Height 17 cm, diameter 13 cm
