A Papua New Guinea Sepik Abelam spirit figure / guardian figure late 19th to early 20th century. The figure is stone carved hardwood showing elegant movement of balance and with male genitalia, pierced ear and good dark patina. The figure appears to have scarification markings on the face horn bill bird, top of the figure. Note: with custom made metal stand. Height 51.5 cm (figure)
