An Australian Colonial cedar dining suite c.1850. The suite comprises of a round tilt-top table and four rail-back dining chairs. The table top is constructed with two matched cedar boards, on a heavy turned bulbous central pedestal column, attached to a tri platform base with turned bun feet and castors. The chairs are William IV in the style, with carved back support rails, turned and octagonal tapering front legs. Provenance: originally from Tasmania.
