A rare West Australian Colonial jarrah chiffonier c.1880. Maker unknown. Provenance: Gallop House Dalkeith. The chiffonier is constructed with a full size drawer over a lower two door cupboard. The base has shield type panelled doors, flanked by two boldly turned half-size pillars, upon a plinth base. The backboard has an outer half-round carved moulded edge, with a single shelf supported by two turned spindle columns. Note: good colour and patina. Height 140 cm; width 108 cm; Depth 48 cm
