A three door Continental bookcase early to mid 20th century. The bookcase is constructed from mahogany and figured burr walnut veneer, and decorated in the classical Continental style with heavily carved side pillars, central bevelled glass door and grotesque masks in the upper frieze panel. The interior has three sectioned cupboard spaces with adjustable wooden shelves. The base is carved with heavy gadrooning upon four lion paw style feet, with circular makers or retailers plaque inside 'GSL'. Height 186 cm; width 249 cm; Depth 50 cm
