All but the last few pages describe the explorations and adventures of the Siberian part of the voyage; Monck, John. An Account of a Most Dangerous Voyage Perform'd By the Famous Captain John Monck in the Years 1619 and 1620...to Hudson's Straits, in order to discover a Passage on that side, betwixt Greenland and America to the West-Indies. with a Description of the Old and New Greenland, for the better Elucidation of the said Treatise. Recent quarter calf and grey papered boards. a couple of signs of use, 2 plates with a marginal short closed tear not touching image, but generally a good copy.Extracted complete from volume one of an edition of 'A Collection of Voyages and Travels, Some Now First Printed From Original Manuscripts ; Others Now First Published in English ; with a General Preface, Giving An Account of the Progress of Navigation From Its First Beginning.' [A.& J. Churchill] London, 1704-1732 and later. It is not clear which edition this is as the volume was defective. Each of the narratives the work contains is complete in itself with a separate title page.
