A fine ivory netsuke by Masatomo of rats climbing about a Hannya demon mask depicted with her mouth wide open with one rat climbing out whilst others clamber around her chin and across her forehead. The eyes with black inlaid pupils, the mask lightly stained, the rats of lighter tone. Red lacquer inlaid tablet to the back with kanji signature. Height 4.3 cm
