A pair of kingwood and tulipwood bedside cabinets, (adapted from commodes) Sicilian, part mid 18th century, each of serpentine bombe form, the later veined marble top above a single drawer and a cupboard door panelled to simulate two drawers, the sides with inlaid diaper ground, on four splayed legs with gilt-bronze sabots, handles and escutcheons. 84 cm high, 54 cm wide, 34 cm deep
