A Huanghuali round-cornered tapering cabinet Yuanjiaogui, late Qing dynasty, with a rounded protruding rectangular top supported on slightly splayed, rounded corner posts, the side panels and pair of pin-hinged doors with rounded moulded frames and fitted with rectangular lockplates and pulls, opening to reveal an interior with two shelves and a pair of drawers carved with scroll motifs, all supported on short feet with scroll terminals joined by a beaded shaped apron and stretchers, 138 cm high, 102 cm wide, 49 cm deep.
