A five-case roiro-nuri ground inro, by Kajikawa, Meiji period, late 19th century, decorated in gold, silver and 'iro-e hiramaki-e' and 'kirigane' with a rooster perched on a blossoming tree gazing down at a snake coiled around a lower branch, signed 'Kajikawa'; with ivory netsuke of a 'shishi' seated on a high plinth, signed 'Masamitsu' and silvered 'ojime', wood storage box, 10 cm long
