An impressive 19th century French ormolu mantel clock, the enamel dial named 'De La Fontaine, Fab de Bronzes, Paris', blue Roman numerals framed by an outer scale of Arabic numerals, the ornate ormolu case with a laurel wreath, ribbon bows, urn finial, the platform base raised on four compressed circular feet with stiff leaf decoration, the glazed back showing the pendulum and eight-day striking movement, c.1850.
