A Tibetan thangka of Green Tara, the central deity in princely attire depicted seated in the lalitasana posture of royal ease, the figure surrounded by a pantheon of ten multi-coloured Tara or other female Bodhisattva figures each in similar posture and gesture, with inscription of blessings in red to the back, mounted with brocade, protective cloth to the front, the two bronze knobs with repousse; Buddhist symbols, 41 cm x 61 cm (thangka).
