A pair of Chinese famille-verte lanterns, Qing Dynasty, 19th century, in coloured enamels on the biscuit, each lantern pierced and moulded into 6 vertical sections, each one with figures in a round medallion; supported on a waisted pedestal on six shaped feet, 39.7 cm high. Provenance: A Brisbane collection, Collection of Miss Perrin, whose family had resided in China in the early 20th century. The collection was a sold at Oxford House In Brisbane in the 1960's
