An Anglo-Indian silver 4pcs tea set. Late 19th and early 20th century. The set is decorated in the Indian colonial style with cobra snake handles and elephant finial on the teapot. The teapot and sugar bowl both carry Scottish silver marks by 'David Edward & George Edward', (Edward & Sons). Note: c.1838, Edward & Sons were importing wares from the East, to be retailed in their London and Scotland stores. Teapot height 17.5 cm total silver weight 1228grams
