A Louis XVI style walnut, mahogany and bronze ormolu, marble top commode. Late 19th century. The chest has two full size drawers with single action key lock mechanism. The front and sides of the chest, are heavily decorated in applied ormolu bronze, including an upper scrolling frieze panel, rococo style shells, corner and foot mounts, and a lidded urn with leafy sprays on the front drawer panels. Height 85.5 cm. Width 104 cm. Depth 49 cm
