Waka huia. Beautifully carved overall, with triple haehae and finely graduating pakati notching, the cocoon-shaped vessel is guarded by two tiki figures, the lid of the waka huia with a raised handle. Rich brown patina. Length 31 cm. Width 15 cm. H9.6 cm.
