Finely carved example with three figures a strong male figure with raised arms supporting the bowl and mother and child to the front, both with inset paua eyes and decorated with haehae and pataki designs. Gold bands stamped a inscribed 'Christeson'. Length 14 cm. Height 4 cm. Width 3.5 cm.
