Bendigo Bookcase: Cedar, celery top pine & pine. Impressive piece with carved corbels & mirrored lower doors. Illustrated in 'Australian Furniture Pictorial History & Dictionary 1788-1938' by Fahy & Simpson [Sydney 1998] plate 51. As noted in Fahy & Simpson pages of the Bendigo Advertiser (1889) were discovered behind the mirrored door panels. Fine patina, c1890. Height 236.5 cm, width 120 cm, depth 52 cm
