A unique early colonial Australia Cedar combination Bookcase-Bedstead. The top section has astragal doors opening to Georgian design shelving. The two door base features a fold-out cedar bed and separate tapering shaped legs (8). The Georgian design short feet have triple ring turnings. The doors to both top and bottom have the same external mitre construction and door thickness. The brass knobs are Georgian and original. NSW origin. Circa 1820-30's. 205 cm tall, 100 cm wide, 59 cm deep.
