A fine small decorative gold plated stand to display a precious vessel (glass, jade, rock crystal), with supporting arms adjusting to fit on a central threaded screw concealed within ornate filigrees incorporating turbaned heads, raised from a sexfoil lobed pierced spreading foot. Authenticated as recovered from the ship 'S.S.Medina' torpedoed off Devon in 1917 whilst carrying the art collection of Lord Carmichael of Castlecraig
