Has manufacturer's label inside 'Bamberger' (Bamberg) Bavaria, East German Boarder guard's side Overses cap with cockade sewn on front, stamped inside, East German Infantry Sniper's Camo head cover with front netting, cover in rain/splinter pattern, has draw-string for fixing cover onto hat or helmet, also has in-built elastic strap above neck flap, face netting can be rolled up and held to cover with straps and buttons, in unissued condition, post war Vietnam issue Camo helmet cover as used by American and Australian troops. Reversible cao finish. Stamped on the inside. Outside on the front is a blue vertical material 'Shield', with a bayonet and 'Follow Me' above, United Nations helmet cover light blue material with material draw-string to hold in place. Has white UN symbol on front and large 'Un' letters on both sides. World War I British Anti-Gas/ Dust 'Eye Shields' Mk 3 aS worn by Fieldmarshall Erwin Rommel in north Africa. Only two in an original cardboard packet usually holding three. Original, but in poor condition.
